Cara Whyte

Cara is an author/singer/songwriter spending time between Byron Bay and South Coast of NSW of Australia and Hawaii.
“The ocean, sea and me” song and book originated while spending time in and surrounded by the ocean and raising her two children with husband Simon.
“I have always felt connected to the ocean and love the feelings you get when you immerse yourself in that environment.” Cara was born in Florida but continued her ocean loving journey to California, Hawaii and now Australia.

Cara’s song writing started while attending University and now has become a different meaningful experience. “I am so thrilled to be able to write kids songs that are meaningful to myself, my family and can relate across generations and cultures.”

Cara spent most of her career life as an Occupational Therapist throughout the United States and Australia, where it allowed her to travel and help and connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.

The ocean, sea and me is her first published singalong book with much thanks and love to Ann Nguyen whose beautiful illustrations made this book a perfect collaboration for the eyes and ears!

The park, trees and me is the sequel and is equally as engaging as the first in the series.
